Reflect, Relax, Restore is a 3-day retreat, offering an introduction to the world of yoga and meditation. During the retreat, participants will practice breathing techniques, explore asana poses, and learn about yoga philosophies. The weekend will incorporate opportunities to reflect on our individual journeys through journaling and discussions. We will apply some of the basic yoga philosophies to the modern day world, empowering participants to find ways in which they can bring yoga and meditation into their daily lives.

WORKSHOPS & CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
In this journaling workshop, participants will reflect on their journey to the retreat. What led you here? What inspired you to say "yes" to this experience? We’ll discuss expectations for the weekend and co-create a safe, inclusive space where everyone can fully express themselves. By committing to radical inclusion, acceptance, and expression, we’ll set the foundation for a transformative and memorable weekend. Let’s work together to make this experience one we’ll cherish forever.
An introductory workshop for two breathing techniques. We will discuss and practice Nostril Breathing, alternating between nostrils, learning when to use this technique, and what benefits it brings to the practitioner. We will then discuss and practice 4, 7, 8 breathing, which has been used in the military and other professions, to calm the body and encourage deep, restful sleep.
A discussion and journaling session focused on uncovering what being silent brought up for practitioners. This can be a calming experience or can sometimes be triggering. We will hold space for all to share their experience and provide compassion as we open up to one another.
There’s no right or wrong in yoga, only safety. This workshop, suitable for both beginners and experienced yogis, invites you to explore how different yoga poses feel in your own body. We’ll take time to stop, discuss each pose, examine variations on different bodies, and explore modifications that best suit you. This is a chance to “try on” poses and find what works for you. The session will end with a short group flow.
An opportunity to apply what you have learned in the “Is This Right?” workshop. A traditional Vinyasa flow, promoting strength and flexibility.
An introduction to meditation and a safe space to lower your guard, let go of one’s inner monologue, and be one with the nature that surrounds you.
This practice encourages deep relaxation. This no-flow class takes time to drop in to poses for extended periods of time, allowing the muscles and the mind to rest. There is nothing to think about, there is nothing to do. Simply be with yourself, find comfort and ease, and relax.
This practice will invite small moments of challenge, making it a beginners+ vinyasa yoga. With a similar flow to the day before, this is an opportunity to stretch farther, breathe deeper, hold poses longer, and challenge yourself in a safe environment. At the end, we will reflect on the experience and discuss how we can bring what we have learned home with us.
Tools to Restore. This journaling workshop is an opportunity to ask questions about anything we have covered throughout the weekend. The goal is to prepare a personalized tool kit of breathing, journaling, meditation, and asanas so that wherever you are, you can find ways to let go of tension, embrace your uniqueness, and restore mental and physical strength and flexibility as you move through life. Challenges ain't got nothing on you!

Classes and workshops will take place in the Art Barn, a large, open space with room to move and explore our bodies.
The property has over 100 hikeable acres and a large pond. Sit by the water and take in the scenic surroundings.
